It’s Time

time clock peopleIt’s time.

No excuses.

No procrastination.

The truth is … we become skilled at offering up excuses. We become skilled at finding reasons to procrastinate. Especially when it comes to spiritual things. It is my prayer that this sermon series is the end of excuses, the end of procrastination.

God did not call you to sit on the sidelines. He calls you to something much greater.

Some of you are faithful. Some of you are struggling to muster up faith. Some of you have college degrees, advanced degrees. Some of you barely finished high school. Some of you are in high school. Some of you are business owners or business professionals. Some of you are a mechanics, plumbers, firefighters, stay-at-home moms, or retired. Some of you are confident, overconfident, lacking confidence, looking for confidence. Some of you know your gifts. Some of you doubt your gifts. Some of you are discovering your gifts. Some of you are asking “What gifts?” Some of you have been in church for decades others a few years or months. Some of you have been baptized. Some of you have thought about being baptized. Some of you will be baptized in the days to come. Some of you have been on a mission trip – some haven’t. Some of you have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, devastated. Some of you been blessed with comfort, support and encouragement. Some of you have skeletons in your closet. Some of you have skeletons that have been let out of the closet. Some of you are filled with hope, joy, and excitement. Some of you are filled with pain and despair.

I could do on and on. But here is what we all have in common: God did not call you to sit on the sidelines. He calls you to something much greater.

It’s time.

No excuses.

No procrastination
