The kingdom of heaven takes a backseat to no one and nothing.

The King and His kingdom are of ultimate value.  Once found, they bring a joy not found in earthly things.

The kingdom of heaven is not like a man who sought to purchase a home and found the perfect place to raise his family – spacious kitchen, land, back porch, swimming pool.  Yet, when the realtor told him the price, he exclaimed, “That is way too high of a cost! I would never give up so much!”

The kingdom of heaven is not like a woman who was offered an opportunity to experience a trip filled with fun, adventure, and incredible people. Yet, she turned it down because she had other plans. 

The kingdom of heaven is not like a woman who sought to purchase a business. She thought to herself “This is a nice opportunity. I might purchase this business if it’s still here in six months or if I don’t run across a better offer.”

The kingdom of heaven is not like a man who purchased a vintage Corvette. He placed the Corvette in his garage among many other cars in his collection.   He parked it and rarely ever drove it. 

Some say, “The cost is too high.”
Some say, “I have other plans.”
Some say, “Maybe later.”

Others simply add Jesus to everything else.

Yet, when one catches a glimpse of the beauty and value of the gospel everything is reordered.
