In 2005, NFL Quarterback Tom Brady sat down for an interview with 60 minutes.  At the time, Brady was dating a supermodel, recently named America’s most eligible bachelor, entering a $60 million contract, and fresh off winning his third Super Bowl.

In the interview Tom Brady said: 

“Why do I have three Super Bowl rings and think there’s something greater out there for me.  I mean maybe a lot of people say, ‘Hey man, this is what it is. I reached my goal, my dream.’  I think, ‘God, there’s got to be more than this.’”

The interviewer pressed him, “What’s the answer?”

Brady replied, “I wish I knew. I wish I knew.”

Many of us would gladly accept Tom Brady’s social, financial, and career success – but there is indeed something more. One only finds abundant life in Jesus.
