My Eyes Are Upon You

We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you. – 2 Chronicles 20:12c

I’m prone to wander, born to run

My eyes are upon you.

I’m a strange mix of fearlessness and fearfulness

My eyes are upon you.

In my hesitation, frustration, reservation

My eyes are upon you.

In my brokenness and sinfulness

My eyes are upon you.

In my overinflated ego and underdeveloped humility

My eyes are upon you.

From the depth of the pit I dug with my own hands

My eyes are upon you.

From the depth of the pit I’ve been pushed down

My eyes are upon you.

Set my feet on rock.

Draw me close to your side.

  1. I never have been able to figure out how to work the app and I could never get any assistance from someone to show me how. I’m really sad about not ever being able to connect with pastor Jeff we should have had plenty of time but something allways stood in our way . Guess things that were needed in order to be stable in SSFBC for me were just not meant to be . Because of my life’s condition I have had to move 100 miles away from the Church .I was really wanting to stay and be a good member but I was forced to give up my residence at the motel I was living in I couldn’t make the $265 dollars a week they wanted for their room it eventually broke me . Then there was the ever present fact of no transportation that played a big part also in my having to leave Sulphur Springs well as most know I’m an ex- convict but a born again child of God and I stand firmon that statement just sending this email to let all know that I didn’t leave the church by choice it was a forced matter maybe one day in the future I can resume my being a member God bless I hope and pray that God richly blessed everyone that is there in SSFBC.
