The thought is not original to me.  I’ve merely been thinking about it a great deal in recent days.

We each have 168 hours in a week.

Traditionally, the church has put a great deal of time and effort into one hour on Sunday mornings.

What if we shifted the focus?  What if we shifted the mindset of church members?

The church should be a disciple making factory, a mission mobilization center.  The one hour on Sunday should encourage the church to live the next 167 hours proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and doing the will of God on earth as it is in Heaven.

Let’s move the focus away from one hour.  Let’s shift our focus to the 167 hours.  Maybe it starts with you and me.
