You never like to make mistakes. You definitely never like to make mistakes in front of other people … especially crowds of other people.

Well, I did just that this Sunday morning.

In the midst of preaching from Hebrews 11:1-6 in our series Faith to Finish the Race. I was making a point that we must believe that God exists. After all, that is exactly what Hebrews 11:6 makes very clear.

Unfortunately, on the slide behind me the entire congregation saw a beautiful slide stating, “Believe God exits.”

So close yet so far away.

I forgot an “s” not a big deal right? In the grand scheme of things – not a big deal. It’s funny. Yet, the small mistake is a huge mistake if we truly believe that God exits.

God is faithful. He is creator and Father. He does not exit.

Put your trust in God today and forevermore.
