Beau Bankston serves as an intern at our church. He is also the winner of our 2023 “America’s Got Talent: FBC Edition.” Last week, we had a blast with the 2024 show. As the judges tabulated scores from the evening, we called Beau up on the stage so the audience could hear from last year’s winner. To my surprise, Beau had composed an original song for the occasion. It was a little jingle … about me. For those who have sat through my preaching, the punchlines land home.
