Three things I know to be true …
God is Good.
I believe God is good with everything in me. I have devoted my life to proclaiming that message. I believe we see God’s goodness in the pages of Scripture and throughout history. Many of you can testify to the goodness of God.
Crushing Circumstances exist.
As many of us can testify to the goodness of God, we also share stories of the pain we have experienced. We can go into great detail of times when life has dealt us a crushing blow.
God and Crushing Circumstances are not in conflict.
This one might be harder to swallow, especially with broken hearts and tears in our eyes. Yet, just look to the cross. Beauty grew from the tragedy of the cross. Our eternal life springs from Jesus’ death on the cross and subsequent resurrection. The foundation of the Christian faith is built upon both God and crushing circumstances.
Hear the powerful words of Lamentations 3:22-24:
Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
Do not allow crushing circumstances to consume you. Rather, trust in the Lord’s great love, receive his compassion and faithfulness, wait for him, and allow him to be your portion.

Loved this sometimes I feel why do you keep trying me but in His infinite mercy it all seems to either be a reason or the best thing that ever happened to me. God has recently blessed my nephew Robert. He is so so good to me I am not worthy to touch His garment but He always waits for me Thank you Heavenly Father for bringing Pastor Jeff into my life!
