Colossians in Prayer (3:3)

In attempt to meditate on God’s word day and night, I began a holy habit of daily turning a verse of Colossians into a prayer. Here’s a recent prayer:

God of the Resurrection,

The old me died.

The funeral was held at my baptism.

Dead.

Buried.

Gone.

My life now rests in Christ,

Hidden in Christ in God.

Wrapped in the arms of a Savior.

Covered in the care of the Good Shepherd.

Colossians 3:3
