Christmas Card Project

My wife, Katie Gravens, recently birthed a new ministry. Let me tell you a bit about it.

Each December we love to display the Christmas cards our family receives by mail. It’s always a bit sad taking them down and putting them in a box after Christmas.

But no more.

Enter the Christmas Card Project.

We are taking the 42 cards we received, representing 41 families, and using them to pray. We will spend one week praying for one family each night at our evening meal. Each family receives a note letting them know we are praying for them and inviting them to provide prayer requests.

We even created a logo and a stamp for our notecards!

I share this ministry for two reasons:

1) To encourage you to find a new ministry this year.

2) To encourage you to send us a Christmas card this year.

“Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.”

– Colossians‬ ‭4:12‬
