July 2021 Book Log

It was a slow reading month (mostly due to reading a few large books that I’ve yet to finish). Here are the 6 books I read in July. This brings my 2021 total to 63 books.

(I must always clarify that I read many books with which I disagree. I learn the most by reading things that do not represent my position.)

Galatians (Commentaries for Christian Formation) by NT Wright (Yes – I read it all!)

The Courage to Stand: Facing Your Fear without Losing Your Faith by Russell Moore

God Save Texas: A Journey into the Soul of the Lone Star State by Lawrence Wright

Obey the Sabbath: Rest in Christ by A. Blake White

Deacons: How they Serve and Strengthen the Church by Matthew Smethurst

Seven Things I Wish Christians knew About the Bible by Michael Bird
