I had a faithful church member in my office yesterday. She carried a box. She explained, “I feel compelled to pray for our local police officers.” She pulled pictures of our local officers from the box and detailed her plan to attach Psalm 91 to the back of each picture. Sunday she will distribute the pictures to her Bible Study Life Group and ask her Christian community to take one and commit to pray for an officer.

In our day of division, distraction, and destruction we could all use rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  Those is position of influence need God’s direction, discernment, and defense.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”
