*Very, very brief reflection from Sunday’s Lord’s Supper Service
“Supper,” I don’t use the word. I only use it in reference to what other church traditions call “Communion” or “the Eucharist.” “Supper” sounds southern, but it also sounds like family.
Family – that’s it. It sounds like a meal as the driving force for bringing family together.
In the Lord’s Supper, we find the communal life of broken people made whole by a Savior.
