My family recently returned from two nights camping at a local state park. We slept in a tent and cooked food over a fire. We were never in danger, or even uncomfortable, but that’s adventure in my book.

You see, I have a vivid imagination.

Two nights camping makes me feel as if I’m an Israelite marching to the promised land or side-by-side Jesus resisting Satan in the wilderness.

In reality, I had a cell phone in my pocket and a camp restroom within eyesight.

But it was great to sleep under the stars and under the illusion of adventure.
