The things of this earth rust, rot, and break down. The pleasures of this world leave you unfulfilled, dissatisfied, and wanting more. On the other hand, Jesus provides rest. He provides the type of rest that can never be achieved through a good night’s sleep, a long vacation, or more money in the bank account. Jesus provides rest for your souls.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
You are not called to be the most successful; you are called to be follow Jesus.
You are not called to be the most skilled; you are called to follow Jesus.
You are not called to be the greatest mom; you are called to follow Jesus.
You are not called to be the most social; you are called to follow Jesus.
You are not called to achieve; you are called to follow Jesus.
You are not called to weariness and burdens; you are invited to come to Jesus and find rest for your souls.

I so want to be more like Jesus physically I am not able to do much which depresses me. I take care of my Mom and looking for something to supplement my income which I know will come in Christ time. He blessed me with extended unemployment and continues to bless me financially. But what can I do for Him. I feel so unworthy. Thank you for teaching God’s message that touches my heart. I am so blessed God sent you to us!!
