Last Wednesday I walked into our worship center to make sure everything was in order for Bible study. As usual, I walked in and turned my gaze to our beautiful rose window. Each panel has a symbol depicting the original disciples with the face of Jesus in the center pane. Having pastored SSFBC for merely eight months, I’m still learning how the sunlight hits the window at various parts of the year and various times of day.
The sight last Wednesday made me stop in my brown wingtips.
The sunlight was hitting the window at such an angle and to such a degree that a reflection of the stained glass was casting onto the nearby wall.
I stopped.
I admired the sight.
I pondered.
Huh.
A reflection of Jesus.
I turned this holy moment into a time of prayer for the people of SSFBC. May we be a reflection of Christ.
Put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you

At times I have complained about how tough it was to sit in the auditorium and have to face the bright sun shinning in my face. Your post completely changes my perspective. Maybe I should change and say “Thank you God for allowing your SON to shine in my face
Thanks Pastor.

Pastor Jeff and prayer warriors of SSFBC,,
Thank you so very much for the prayers for Micah. God answered our prayers and he is back home with his family. He is doing well but really weak. I can not express how appreciative and how I covet your prayers. Thank you Jesus!
Love to all,
Mike and Sandra Webb
